Meet The Staff
Morah MussieDirector and TeacherEarly childhood education has always been my passion. I hold a Child Development Associate or CDA Credential and have been involved with education for 15 years in many different formats and specifically in the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Together with a fantastic group of children and families, we have created a school where each child is cherished and loved and where we hope to develop their unique potential. I'm a mom to three young children together with my husband and look forward to meeting your family!

Morah AniaLead TeacherHello! I'm Ania Shepherd and have been working with children of all ages for twenty years. I have specifically worked with preschool ages via the Montessori approach. I hold a bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language with pedagogical training. I began working with young children because of a fascination with humanistic (child centered) education which is practiced more often in private preschools. I am always eager to learn new approaches and new ways to teach in order to help children fulfill their potential. I believe that both a rich environment and an attentive and encouraging teacher can achieve that goal.
I have a husband and two young adult children who are my best friends now. I speak English and Russian fluently. I love diversity of cultures and believe it is enriching! The world is big and exciting and is waiting for us to explore it. I am looking forward to do that with your children! |
Morah ChristineAssistant TeacherHello! I am Christine! I moved from Southern California to Sioux Falls to get my Bachelor's Degree in sign language interpreting and government from Augustana University, and I never left! This will be my third year with GAN. My favorite part of the week is when I can share my passion for sign language with the students in our Friday "Sign Language Circle". I believe laughter and play are the best ways to learn and cannot wait to get to know your child.
